RINGO is a smart door opener.

It is very useful for hosts in apartment buildings, because it can unlock building and apartment doors via a mobile phone remotely.

For example, you can simply unlock the doors remotely for your guests, cleaners… or allow them to enter themselves only for a limited time, by sharing a digital key with them. Guests do NOT NEED an APP to open doors. RINGO allows you to unlock several doors, building doors, hallway doors (if there) and apartment doors.

Ringo is a device that is connected to your existing door lock and intercom (if you use it). Ringo is applied as an accessory and does not change your lock, intercom or door in any way. You can still use your classic keys without interruption. Ringo is connected to your door lock and intercom by a cable, therefore it can be applicable to any door lock or intercom.
Ringo then connects that lock and intercom to the internet and gives you the possibility to control it. You can open doors remotely from anywhere or share a digital key.

Ringo can be used in many scenarios, but Ringo is mostly used for:

• Multi-apartment buildings to open building and apartment doors
• For hosts renting out apartments via Airbnb, Booking.com, …
• Fitness centres to open main doors
• Homes for contactless entry
• As a wireless intercom in apartment buildings

Ringo allows you to open building and apartment doors remotely or share a digital key with your upcoming guests. For example: if guests are arriving in the middle of the night, they can enter the building and your apartment on their own by using Ringo digital key.

Ringo can fit all doors and intercom systems!

Ringo is not a typical smart lock, but a professional smart controller that fits all doors and locks. It is not mounted on your door lock, but it is connected to it via cable and the same with your intercom in your apartment. It can open several doors at the same time, for example, if your apartment is located in a multi-apartment building, it can open both the apartment door and the common door of the building.

In the Ringo user interface specify the period of the digital key and send it to a person via email or text message (also Whatsapp, Viber etc.). You can cancel it it at any time. You have complete autonomy over opening and assigning digital keys to guests.

You can also use our API to integrate with third party services and automate sharing digital keys. In example: integration with Channel manager service

Ringo requires:

– Stable wireless internet connection (WiFi) or we can provide a sim card for mobile data

– Door lock connection

– Intercom connection

– Electrical power

Ringo is installed by a Ringo expert who will make sure that everything works properly. After purchasing Ringo you will be contacted by the Ringo team with whom you will agree on the installation date and location. Lead time is currently around 5 working days and the installation itself lasts approximately 45 minutes (depending on the door type).

Yes. Ringo in no way affects or alters your current door lock. You can still use the old keys at any time or use them as a spare.

Yes. Ringo can open two doors by default. For example, if the apartment is located in an apartment building, Ringo opens the door of the building and the door of the apartment.
Ringo can be also modified to open more doors, up to 15 per one device. In this case custom pricing applies.

No, you do not need a permission from the building manager. Ringo is installed only in your apartment and connected to your intercom handle. It is like you would press a button on an intercom handle in your apartment to open a communal door, with Ringo you do it remotely via your mobile phone or your guests do it via their mobile phone (Ringo digital key).

Yes. Ringo is very secure because it uses the latest certified and encrypted software, like used by banks and other security systems. In addition, it is mounted on the inside of the apartment door, not visible to outsiders. Physically, it has been tested that Ringo lock can withstand a pressure of 350+ kg on the door which is super safe.
